We really enjoyed our tour of Versailles today.  These photos show the opulence and extravagance of Louis 14, 15, and 16.

We had lunch at a cafe in the gardens at Versailles..  It was lovely.  When I went to the restroom,  a woman in the queue exclaimed  "Gonzaga--is that the Gonzaga in the state of Washington?"  She was from Washington DC, but she knew all about Gonzaga, and even pronounced it correctly!  Great fun!
