Matthew came back from London and took us to two charming villages, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Norton. We visited several nice antique shops in Moreton in Marsh.
Moreton in March
I am outside "my"coffee house--as most of you know, my real name is Martha.
The church in Moreton in Marsh.
Chipping Norton
I think this building was originally a toll house--it had the toll rates posted on the side.
City Hall in Chipping Norton.
Dinner at the Bitter and Twisted Pub in Chipping Norton. Love the name! Lynn had sea bass, I had rib eye steak in a lovely mushroom and bacon sauce, and Matthew had sausage and mash. It was all very good.
We are now back at our hotel in Burford. We take off tomorrow for Portsmouth, so I had some packing to do. There was a glitch in our laundry--someone turned off the dryer with our white load, so Matthew had to turn it on again and will bring it tomorrow so I can finish packing.
