We made it to London.   Loooooong day.  We left at 5:45 AM PT Thursday and flew to San Francisco (go figure), Chicago and London.  We arrived here at 6:00 AM English Summer Time.  We came clost to missing our flight in Chicago---the router had allowed only 58 minutes to get from one gate to another.

Otherwise, the trip went off without a hitch.

We are now sitting at St. Pancras Rail station in London, we had allowed extra time to take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station, and a taxi to St. Pancras, so I was able to take  a 30 minute brisk walk around the sttion.  We also walked over to the British Library which is across the street, which gave me more of a walk and broke up the waiting.
